Titanium Alloy Sheets
Titanium alloy sheet is an alloy sheet made of titanium as the base metal with other elements added. It exhibits two allotropic forms: hexagonal close-packed α-titanium below 882°C and body-centered cubic β-titanium above 882°C.
Based on their microstructure, titanium alloys can be classified into α-titanium alloys, β-titanium alloys, and α+β titanium alloys. The alloying elements can be further categorized as α-stabilizing elements (such as aluminum), β-stabilizing elements (such as molybdenum and chromium), and neutral elements (such as zirconium). They are primarily used in aerospace, marine engineering, and biomedical applications, possessing advantages such as low density, high specific strength, and corrosion resistance.
Sheet metal production involves processes such as slab heating, hot rolling, warm rolling, and cold rolling. During hot rolling, a deformation of 30-40% is required in the α phase or α+γ phase region to ensure a fine-grained microstructure.

Titanium plate manufacturing processes
Hot rolling
Heated titanium billets are repeatedly rolled at high temperatures to achieve uniform thickness and dense structure.
Hot-rolled Titanium Plates have excellent ductility and formability with balanced strength and toughness — ideal for pressure vessels and chemical equipment.
Cold rolling
Precision rolling below the recrystallization temperature produces smoother surfaces and more accurate dimensions.

Forging
High-temperature deformation refines grains and ensures a uniform internal structure.
Forged Titanium Plates deliver superior strength and reliability, commonly used in aerospace parts, flanges, and pressure shells.
Casting

Cast Titanium Plates are more cost-effective and mainly used for non-pressure structures or decorative applications.
