Gr9 titanium sheet mainly refers to thin,flat rolled materials wih the thickness is less than 5mm, made of Grade 9 meterial.(Ti-3Al-2.5V).We can provide sheet with thickness ranging from 0.5-5.0mm, the length and width are usally 1000x2000mm(also can customized according to client's opnion)

Gr9 titanium sheet is accoring to ASTM B265, the processing technology is cold rolling,which primarilly used to hot-rolled plates thinner dimensions,improving surface quality,dimentsional accuracy and properities.It typically supplied in annealed or cold-worked condition.The surface can be bright pickled,cold rolled(Matte) and abrasive polished.

Gr9 titanium is an alpha-beta alloy design to fill the performance gap between pure titanium(grade 1 & grade 2)and the high-strength workhorse alloy grade 5.It is the idela "middle-gorund"alloy which offers an optimal balance of good strength,excellent formability and high corrosion resistance.It is a wise choice for applications where weight savings,fabricability and performance are critical.The tensile strength is not less than 620MPa,yield strength is not less than 483MPa,elongation is 15% MIN.

1,Excellent Strength-to-Weight Ratio:it provides a significant weight saving advantage over stainless steel and other metals,its strength is nearly double that of grade 2 and 50-60% of grade 5.

2,High Corrosion Resistance:it retains the outstanding corrosion resistance of pure titaniumin in most environments,include seawater,chlorides and many chemicals.

3,Superior Formability and fabricability:it is significantly more ductile and easier to form at room temperature than grade 5.This makes it ideal for complex sheet metal forming operations,bending and welding.

4,Good Weldability:it can be readily welded using common techniques such as gas tungsten arc welding and gas metal arc welding.

5,Good Creep Resistance:it preforms better than pure titanium at moderately elevated temperatures.

1,Chemical Industrial:it can be maden to heat exchangers,vessels and piping for chemical plants where strength is required than grade 2 can provide.

2,Marine:it can be maden to the components for naval vessels and subsea systems,include heat exchangers,condenser shells and housings for sensors.

3,Aerospace:it can be maden to hydraulic tubing and plumbing systems for aircarft and spacecraft.This is a primary applicaiton where its combination of strength,bendability and corrosion resistance is unmatched.

4,Architecture:it can be maden to architectural panels and roofing systems for demanding environments.

5,Consumer Stuffs:it can be maden to sporting stuffs,just like high-end bicycle frames,golf club heads and backpacking equipment where weight and strength are critical.
