Production description
Gr9, the common name is Ti-3Al-2.5V or TA18 in China. It is a medium-strength α‑β titanium alloy plate, balancing light weight, formability, weldability and corrosion resistance between pure Ti and high-strength Gr5.
Titanium Grade9 plate is the "workhorse" medium‑strength alloy for projects needing light weight, good formability, weldability, and seawater/chemical corrosion resistance without the cost/processing difficulty of Gr5.
