Gr2 Titanium Wire

Gr2 titanium wire mainly refers to circular materials wih the diameter of less than 6 mm, made of Grade 1 meterial according to ASTM B863 standard.Our company can provide fine wire with diameters ranging from 0.3 to 1.0mm, medium wire with diameters ranging from 1.2 to 3.0mm, thick wire with diameters ranging from 4.0 to 6.0mm.Fine wire and medium wire are supplied in coils, the weight is from several kgs to 20kgs.The thick wire is supplied in bars, the length is usually 1000,2000 and 3000mm(also can customized according to client's opnion)

The processing technology is hot rolling or cold drawing, typically supplied in annealed condition or old-worked condition.The surface can be bright pickled or abrasive polished.

The monthly production capacity for titanium wires reaches 50 metric tons.Our company has one set of 250mt rolling mill,one set of 40mt and one set of 20mt drawing machines,supported by 1 electric resistance furnace,1 annealing furnace and 1 skew roll straightening machine..With our sufficient production facilities,we can promptly process cutsomer orders.Meanwhile,we offer multiple delivery options to overseas clients,whcih include sea freight,land-sea combined transport and air freight.

Gr2 titanium is the industry standard for general purpose titanium applications.It provides the ideal balance of strength,corrosion resistace,weldability and formability, making it the most widely used grade across the chemical processing, marine,power and manufacturing indsutries.It offers a 30%-40% increase in strength over grade 1 with only a slight reduction in ductility.This makes it the default choice for most general purpose aplications where both strength and formability are required.

1,High Strength-to-Weight Ratio,it provides a sogmofocamt stremgt advantage over grade 1 while maintaining a low density,about 40% lighter tha steel.

2,Excellent Ductility and Formability:it retains very good plastictiy,allowing for easy cold heading,bending ,coiling and weaving.It is more formable than grade 3 and grade 4.

3,Excellent Corrosion Resistance:it inherits excellent resistance to wide array of corrosice media,including saltwater,chlorides, oxidizing acids and harsh chemical environment.It forms a stable protective oxide layer upon exposure to air.

4,Good Weldability:it exhibits excellent weldability using all common fusion welding techniques,such as gas tungsten arc welding and gas metal arc welding with minimal risk of cracking.

5,Optimal Balance:it offers the best all-around combination of mederate strength and good ductility among the unalloyed titanium grades.Its strength is higher than grade 1 and its ductility is higher than grade 3.

1,Industrial Welding:the primary use is as filler wire,grade 2 ERTi-2 for welding pure titnaium components in chemical processing(heat exchangers,reactors,piping systems), marine & offshore(propeller shafts,seawater piping,hull components),power generation(condentser bubes and other components in power plants)

2,Aerospace:it is used for non-critical structural components,springs and fasteners where corrosion resistance and weight saving are key.

3,Chemical Processing:woven into filter meshes and clothfiltration in corrosive environments,knitted into"anode baskets for electroplating,used for lining,hooksand othe accessories inside processing vessels.

4,Consumer & Architectural:it can be maden to eyeglass frames,jewelry,sport stuff,such as golf club heads),it can also be maden to architectural fasteners and components for exposed structures.

5,Medical Industry:it is used for certain non-implant medical devices and surgical instrument components.It can be also used for specific applicaiitons like wire sutures or cables.

6,Additive Manufacturing(3D printing),it is used fas feedstock in wire-based 3D printing processes like WAAM for creating large,corrosive-resistance structures.
