Gr9 Titanium Foil

Gr9 titanium foil mainly refers to strip materials wih the thickness is less than 0.1 mm, made of Grade 9 meterial((Ti-3Al-2.5V)) according to ASTM B265 standard.We can supply the thickness ranges from 0.005mm-0.1mm.The common width is 180mm, the weight is about 5-10kg per coil(We also offer foils of special width based on coustomer requirements)

1,Pickling:the hot-rolled coil is first pickled to remove surface oxide acale,usually using and HF+HNO3 mixed acid solution)

2,Annealing:intermediate annealing is required before or during the cold rolling process to eliminate work hardening,restore the material's plasticity and allow for further rolling

3,Rolling:multiple passed of rolling are performed on a reversible or tandem cold rolling mill.The reduction per pass is samll,requiring multiple cycles of "rolling-annealing"to reach the final thickness.

Our company has 4 set of cold rolling mill,supported by one set electric resistance furnace,one set annealing furnace and one set slitting machine.The monthly production capacity for titanium coil reaches 10 metric tons.With our sufficient production facilities,we can promptly process cutsomer orders.By partnering with professional logistics companies at the port,we offer multiple delivery options to overseas customers,include sea freight,land-sea combined transport and air freight.

Gr9 titanium foil offers an excellent balances of strength,ductility, formability and weldability.It serves as a superior alternative to pure titanium(such as grade 1 and grade 2) in applications requring higher mechanical properities and a more cost-effective and workable alternative to the stronger but less ductile of grade 5.It has the following key characteristics & properties.
