Processing about Titanium Alloy Fastener

 

The processing methods include cold working and hot working.Cold working being the most mainstream and effecient method.The typical machining process flow of cold-headed bolt is as belows:

wire preparation---surface treatment----cold heading forming----thread rolling----heat treatment-----surface treatment---inspection---packing.

 

1.Preparation:Raw titanium wire is sorted, cleaned and straightened before processing to remove impurities and ensure uniform material performance for 钛the next processing.

2. Surface treatment:Need professional surface cleaning and coating treatment on raw materials to reduce friction and improve the forming effect in cold heading.

3. Cold heading forming: The processed wire is precisely stamped and shaped by cold heading equipment to complete the preliminary contour of fastener products.

4.Thread rolling: Use special thread rolling dies to roll standard and precise threads on the semi-finished products for later assembly and connection.

5.Heat treatment: Adopt standardized quenching and tempering processes to enhance product hardness, toughness and overall mechanical properties.

6.Surface treatment: Make secondary surface treatments such as galvanizing, oxidation or anti-rust coating to improve corrosion resistance and appearance quality.

7. Inspection: With a full-size dimension detection, a mechanical performance test and the appearance defect inspection to screen qualified products.
