Pure titanium fastener is premium mechanical component made from high-purity titanium ,normal as grade 1 and grade 2 that according to ASTM F467/F468 standard. Compared with alloy titanium or steel fasteners, pure titanium fasteners have lower strength but better formability and corrosion resistance.

The processing methods include cold working and hot working.Cold working being the most mainstream and effecient method.The typical machining process flow,for example as cold-headed bolt as belows:

wire preparation---surface treatment----cold heading forming----thread rolling----heat treatment-----surface treatment---inspection---packing.
