Gr1 Titanium Wire

Gr1 titanium wire mainly refers to circular materials wih the diameter of less than 6 mm, made of Grade 1 meterial.Our company can provide fine wire with diameters ranging from 0.3 to 1.0mm, medium wire with diameters ranging from 1.2 to 3.0mm, thick wire with diameters ranging from 4.0 to 6.0mm.Fine wire and medium wire are supplied in coils, the weight is from several kgs to 20kgs.The thick wire is supplied in bars, the length is usually 1000,2000 and 3000mm(also can customized according to client's opnion)

The processing technology is hot rolling or cold drawing, typically supplied in annealed condition or old-worked condition.The surface can be bright pickled or abrasive polished.

Our company has one set of 250mt rolling mill,one set of 40mt and one set of 20mt drawing machines, supported by 1 electric resistance furnace,1 annealing furnace and 1 skew roll straightening machine.The monthly production capacity for titanium wire reaches 50 metric tons.With our sufficient production facilities,we can promptly process cutsomer orders.By partnering with professional logistics companies at the port,we offer multiple delivery options to overseas customers,include sea freight,land-sea combined transport and air freight.

Gr1 titanium is a commercially pure titanium wire manufactured according to ASTM B863 standard.It is the softest and most ductile grade among the four unalloyed titanium grades.It is the optimal choice when the design prioritizes maximum corrosion resistance,exceptional cold formability and superior biocompatibility over high strength.It is the fundational grade for applications where pure titanium's intrinsic properties are required.

1,Excellent Corrosion Resistance:it has outstangding resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments,including saltwater,chlorides and many acids.

2,High Ductility and Formability:it has superior plasticity,allowing it to be easily cold-headed,coiled,bent and woven without cracking.

3,Good Weldability:it can be readily welded using all common techniques,such as GTAW and GMAW.

4,Superior Biocompatibility:it is an ideal material for medical implants and devices for its perfect biocompatibility(non-toxic and non-allergenic)

5, High Strength-to-Weight Ratio:it offers remarkable strength while being about 40% lighter than steel.

6,Low Strength,High Elongation:compared to other titanium grades,it has the lowest ultimate and yield strength but the highest percentage of elongation.

1,Medical Industry:it can be used in surgical impants(bone fixation wires, sutures,orthopedic cables and mesh for cranical repair),dental applications(orthodontic archwires,dental implant components.), medical devices(components for pacemakers,drug delivery systems and surgical instruments)

2,Industrial Applications:it can be used as filler wire for welding pure titanium components in chemical processing,heat exchangers , marine equipments,weaving filter meshes,knitting anode baskets,fabricating equipment linings,fasteners,springs,structural components in airframes and shipbuilding, manufacurer of eyeglass frames,jewelry and hihg-performance sprots equipment.
