Gr9 Titanium Wire

Gr9 titanium wire mainly refers to circular materials wih the diameter of less than 6 mm, made of Grade 9 meterial.(Ti-3Al-2.5V).The content for Ti ,Al and V is similar as grade 5.Our company can provide fine wire with diameters ranging from 0.3 to 1.0mm, medium wire with diameters ranging from 1.2 to 3.0mm, thick wire with diameters ranging from 4.0 to 6.0mm.Fine wire and medium wire are supplied in coils, the weight is from several kgs to 20kgs.The thick wire is supplied in bars, the length is usually 1000,2000 and 3000mm(also can customized according to client's opnion)

The processing technology is hot rolling or cold drawing, typically supplied in annealed condition or old-worked condition.The surface can be bright pickled or abrasive polished.

Our company has one set of 250mt rolling mill,one set of 40mt and one set of 20mt drawing machines,supported by 1 electric resistance furnace,1 annealing furnace and 1 skew roll straightening machine.The monthly production capacity for titanium wire reaches 50 metric tons.With our sufficient production facilities,we can promptly process cutsomer orders.By partnering with professional logistics companies at the port,we offer multiple delivery options to overseas customers,include sea freight,land-sea combined transport and air freight.

Gr9 titanium is a near-alpha alloy according to ASTM B863 standard.Its excellent combination of strength,ductility,formability and corrosion resistance.It serves as a lighter and stronger alternative to pure titanium (grade 1,grade 2)in demanding applications and is more readily fabricable than the high-strength alloy grade 5.Totally,it is a high performance alloy that strikes and optimal balance between the formability of pure titanium and the strength of grade 5.Based on the above, making it an indispensable material for critical applications in aerospace, medical and marine industries.

1, High Strength-to-Weight Ratio:it offers significantly higher strength than commercially pure titanium grades,for example, approximately 20% strength than grade 2,while maintaining a low density.This makes it ideal for weight-critical applications.

2,Excellent Corrosion Resistance:just like grade 5,it has excellent resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments,including saltwater,chlorides and many chemicals similar to other titanium alloys.

3,Good Ductility and Formability:it can easier to cold work,bend and from into complex shapes compared to grade 5, this make it excellent for fabrication processes.

4,Good Elevated Temperature performance:it is suitable for use up to approximately 315-400℃ maintains its mechanical properities at moderately high temperature.

1,Aerospace:it can be maden to hydraulic tubing and lines for aircraft,critical components in airframes and engines where weight savings are paramount.

2,Chemical processing:it can be maden to chemical equipments like coils,linings and tubing for handling corrosive process streams.

3,Marine & Offshore:it can be maden to the components for subsea systems,heat exchangers and pipiing in desalination plants.

4,Medical:it is also a good surgical implants material,it can be maden to orthopedic cables,guidewires and other surgical implant applications.

5,Consumer Stuffs:it can be maden to frames for premium bicycles and sports parts.

6,Welding Wire:it can be used as a filler metal for welding components.
