Gr3 titanium sheet mainly refers to thin,flat rolled materials wih the thickness is less than 5mm, made of Grade 3 meterial.We can provide sheet with thickness ranging from 0.5-5.0mm, the length and width are usally 1000x2000mm(also can customized according to client's opnion)

Gr3 titanium sheet is pure titanium garde accoring to ASTM B265 or AMS4903(ASTM F67 standard for surgical implant applications), the processing technology is cold rolling,which primarilly used to hot-rolled plates thinner dimensions,improving surface quality,dimentsional accuracy and properities.It typically supplied in annealed or cold-worked condition.The surface can be bright pickled,cold rolled(Matte) and abrasive polished.

Gr3 titanium offers higher strength than grade 1 and grade 2 while retaining good ductility and excellent corrosion resistance,This grade is designed for applications requiring enhanced mechanical performance where the formability for grade 2 may be insufficient but the full alloy strength of grades like grade 5 is not neccssary.The tensile strength is around 450-600MPa,yield strength is around 380-520MPa,Elongation is 18% MIN,density is 4.51g/cm3.In summary,it is the gap between formable pure titanium (grade 1/grade 2) and high strength alloys(grade 5).It is the preferred choice for applications demanding elevated mechanical performance without compromising corrosion resistance or weldability.

1,Higher Strength:it provides greater tensile and yield strength than grade 1 and grade 2,while maintaining adequate formability.

2,Excellent Corrosion Resistance:it resists a wide range of corrosive environments,including seawater,chlorides and oxidizing acids.It forms a stable,protective oxide layer upon exposure to air or moisture.

3,Good Weldability and Fabricability:it can be welded using common techniques such as gas tungsten arc welding and moderately formed, though it is less ductile than grade 2.

4,Biocompatibility and Non-Magnetic:it has good biocompatibility and non-magnestic charcaters,which making it suitable for medical and specialized applications requiring non-magnetic properties.

5,High Strength-to-Weight Ratio:as same as grade 1 and grade 2,it is about 60% of density of steel but with useful meachanical strength,leading to significant weight saving in designs.

1,Chemical Processing:it can be maden to pressure vessles,heat exchangers and piping systems handling aggressive media.

2,Marine Engineering:it can be maden to offshore platforms,submarine components and seawater piping.

3,Aerospace:it can be maden to structural components,engine parts and firewall panels requiring higher strength than grade 2.

4,Medical Field:it can be maden to orthopedic implants,surgical tools and dental devices where enhanced strength is critical.
