Gr2 titanium sheet is accoring to ASTM B265 or AMS4902, the processing technology is cold rolling,which primarilly used to hot-rolled plates thinner dimensions,improving surface quality,dimentsional accuracy and properities.It typically supplied in annealed or cold-worked condition.The surface can be bright pickled,cold rolled(Matte) and abrasive polished.

Gr2 titanium is the most widely used grade of commercially pure titanium,it offers and excellent balance of moderate strength,ductility and outstanding corrosion resistance, making it the workhorse grade for a vast array of industrial applicaitons. The tensile strength is around 345-550MPa,yield strength is around 275-450MPa,elongation is 20% MIN,density is 4.51g/cm3.In summary,it is the most versatile and commonly selected grade of titanium,providing the ideal cobination of strength,fabricability and superior corrosion resistance for demanding applications across countless industries.

1,Excellent Corrosion Resistance:it demonstrates execptional resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments,including seawater,chlorides,oxidizing acids and most industrial chemical processes.It forms a stable,protective oxide layer upon exposure to air or moisture.

2,Good Ductility and Formability:it retains significant formability,allowing it to be readily cold formed,bent and drawn.It is more formable than grade 3 and grade 4 and other titanium alloy grades.

3,Excellent Weldability:it can be easily welded using common fabrication techniques such as gas tungsten arc welding,plasma arc welding.

4,Non-Magnetic and Biocompatible:it has good non-magnestic and biocompatibility charcaters,which making it suitable for medical applications and use in sensitive electronic environments.

5,Low Density and High Strength-to-Weight Ratio:as same as grade 1,it is about 60% of density of steel but with useful meachanical strength,leading to significant weight saving in designs.

1,Chemical Processing:it can be maden to heat exchangers,reactors,columns,piping and vessels handling corrosive chemicals.

2,Marine and Offshore:it can be maden to heat exchanger tubes,hull components,piping systems and risers in seawater desalination plants,offshore platforms and shipbuilding.
