Gr7 titanium plate mainly refers to medium and heavy gauge plate wih the thickness is more than 5mm, made of Grade 7 meterial(Ti-0.25Pd).We can provide sheet with thickness ranging from 5.0-100mm, the length and width are usally 1000x2000mm(also can customized according to client's opnion)

Gr7 titanium plate is accoring to ASTM B265, the processing technology is hot rolling,which primarilly used for breaking down titanium ingots and rolling them into medium thick plates.It typically supplied in annealed condition.The surface can be bright pickled or abrasive polished.

Gr7 titanium is a palladium-additioned titanium alloy,which essentially a grade 2 wih small addition of palladium.This minor but critical addition dramatically enhances its corrosion resistance, particularly in reducing acids and severe crevice corrosion environments.It is classified as an"alpha alloy"and is considered the corrosion workhorse of titanium family for the most aggressive chemical services.The tensile strength is not less than 345MPa,yield strength is not less than 275MPa,elongation is 20%MIN.

1,Exceptional Corrosion Resistance:The palladium addition provides Superior resistance to reducing acids,just like sulfuric,phosphorice,hydrochloric where pure titanium would fail.It also offers unparalleled resistance to crevice corrosion in hot chlorides, making it a benchmark material for chemical processing.

2,Maintained Fabricability:It retains the excellent formability and weldability of its base metal(grade 2),allowing it to be easily fabricated into complex vessels and components.

3,Excellent Weldability:it can be used all common techniques(GTAW/GMAW)with similar to those for grade 2.The weld metal retains the corrosion resistance of the parent metal.

4,Mechanical Properties:its mechanical strength is identical to that of grade 2,providing a familiar strength level for designers.

5:Cost Consideration:The addition of palladium is expansive metal, makes it significantly more expensive than non-alloyed grades.However, this cost is often justified by its performance in extending equipment life and preventing failures in critical applications.

Gr7 titanium plate is exclusively specified for the most challenging corrosive environments where other standard titanium grades are unsuitable.It is mainly used in the following industries:

1,Chemical Processing Industry:it can be maden to reactors,vessels, Handling sulfuric acid,hydrochloric acid and phosphoric acid.It also can be maden to piping,valves and pumps for aggressive chemicals streams.At the end,it also can be maden to equipment for production of acids,dyes,plastics and pharmaceuticals.
