It is a versatile, medium-strength titanium alloy prized for its exceptional balance of strength,formability,weldablility and corrosion resistance.It is the ideal material for engineers who find that commercially pure titanium in not strong enough but the high strength and lower formability of Gr5 are excessive or problematic for their application,particularly in tubing and sheet metal fabrication.Total, the tensile strength is more than 620MPA,yield strength is more than 483MPA, the elongation is 15%min.
We supply Gr9 titanium round bar according to the ASTM B348 standard,processed through hot rolling and supplied in the annealed condition.Based on customer's requirements,we can perform surface turning or grinding,and the finished bars under 100% ultrasonic testing.

Our monthly production capacity for titanium bars is around 500 metric tons.We has one set of 550mt,one set of 450mt and one set of 350mt rolling mills,supported by 9 electric resistance furnaces,2 annealing furnaces and 2 sets of skew roll straightening machine.We supply the bars by rolling bars and processing bars,inculde turning and grinding.We adopt realialbe packing method to ensure the safty during transportation.We offer multiple delivery options to overseas customers,include sea freight,land-sea combined transport and air freight.

Gr9 titanium bar is a near-alphe alloy that occupies a unique and critical positition between commercially pure titanium and the high-strtength Gr5 alloy.It was origninally developed for aerospace hydraulic systems but has since becomme a premier choice for applications requiring excellent cold formability,good weldability,higher strength than commercial pure grades and superior corrosion resistance.It is often called the "workhorse"alloy for high-performance tubing and is a fantastic all-rounder for demanding engineering applications.
It has the following properties:
1,Enhanced Strength:it offers approximately 30-48% higher strength than grade 2 while maintaining good ductility,Its strenght is less than grade 5.
2,Excellent Formability:it retains signficantly better cold-froming and bending characteristics than grade 5.This make it the preferred choice for thin-walled tubing and complex shapes.
3,Good Weldability:it can be readily welded using standard titanium practices and the welds are strong and ductile.
4,Superior Corrosion Resistance:it maintains the outstanding corrosion resistance of pure titanium in most environments,inclduing seawater,chlorides and oxidizing acids.It is highly resistanct to pitting and crevice corrosion.
5,Light Weight:it retains titanium's excellent strength-to-weight ratio.
Gr9 titanium bar can be widely used in the following scopes:
