Gr5 TItanium Bar
Gr5 titanium bars are primarily round bars, made of Grade 5 meterial(Ti-6Al-4V).Ii is an (a+b)duplex phase titanium alloy.It is the most produced,widely used,and comprehensively high-performing titanium alloy.The bars are comply with the ASTM B348 standard, processed through hot rolling and supplied in the annealed condition. We can supply the bars by rolling rod or processing rod which will perform surface turning or grinding.
Our company can provide fixed-length bars with diameters ranging from 6.0 to 114mm and lengths up to 6000mm.We also offer bars of special lengths based on coustomer requirements.(For specific specifications,please refer to the table below)

Our company has one set of 550mt,one set of 450mt and one set of 350mt rolling mills,supported by 9 electric resistance furnaces,2 annealing furnaces and 2 sets of skew roll straightening machine.The monthly production capacity for titanium bars reaches 500 metric tons.We offer multiple delivery options to overseas customers,include sea freight,land-sea combined transport and air freight.

The exceptional propertiew of Gr5 titanium bar stem from its unique composition and structure:
1. High Strength,Low Density(High Specific Strength)
Its tensile strength(>895MPA)is significantly hihger than all kinds of pure titanium and many high-strength steels.
Its density is about 4.43g/cm3,only 60% of steel.
High specific strength(strength/density ratio)is its most crucial advantage, meaning it is much lighter than steel at wquivalent strength levels,which is vital for aerospace and tansportation industries.
2. Excellent Corrosion Resistance:
Its forms a dense,stable oxide film on its surface,providing outstanding resistance to atmosphere,seawater,chlorides(e.g. saltwater)and a wide range of acids and alkalis.Its corrosion resistance surpassed that of most stainless steels.
3. Good Thermal Stability:
It retains high strength at moderate temperatures(around 400℃), making it suitable for high-temperature components like aircraft engine compressor disks and blades.
4. Good Biocompatibility:
It is non-toxic,non-allergenic and compatible with human tissue and blood, making it an ideal materials for medical implants such as artificial joints,bone screws,and dental implants.
5. Non-Magnetic:
It does not magnetize in strong magnetic fields, making it suitable for special applications in marine environments, medical fields(e.g.MRI equipment)and scientific research.
