Gr5 titanium plate, also known as Ti6Al4V or TC4 titanium plate, is one of the most commonly used titanium alloy plates. AMS 4911 Gr5 (Ti-6Al-4V) Titanium Plate is the most common aerospace-grade α+β titanium alloy plate, defined by the SAE AMS 4911 standard. The common condition is annealed condition. AMS 4911 Gr5 titanium plate is the workhorse of aerospace titanium, balancing high strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance.
