Manufacturing process of Titanium Blind Flange
1. Raw Material Selection & Cutting
Select titanium alloy billets . Cut to required blank size via band sawing.
2. Hot Forging
Heat billet to 950–1160°C. Forge into flange preform.
3. Heat Treatment
Heat to 500–700°C, hold, cool slowly. Relieve stress, improve ductility.
4. Precision Machining
CNC turning: OD, ID, sealing face.CNC drilling: bolt holes.Milling: face grooves.
5. Surface Treatment
Pickling/acid cleaning: remove oxide scale.Passivation: enhance corrosion resistance.
6. Inspection & Marking
Dimensional check.Pressure testing.Mark: grade, size, heat no., rating.
7. Packaging
Clean, protect, pack for shipping.
