Gr7 titanium is essentially pure titanium with a small addition of palladium(0.12-0.25%),which dramatically enhances its corrosion resistance,particularly in reducing acid environments.The seamless construction ensures maximum reliability and performance in the most demanding corrosive applications.This tube is most expensive tube among all the titanium tubes,but it plays an irreplaceable role in some special scenarios.
Gr7 titanium seamless tube is manufactured from ASTM B861 standard that made of Gr7 meterial(Ti-0.25Pd). It typically supplied in annealed condition.We can perform surface treating by polishing and the finished tubes under non-destrucive testing such as ultrasonic testing and eddy current testing. A titanium billet is heated and pierced to create a hollow shell, the hollow shell is further processed through hox extrusion or cold pilgering to achieve the desired dimensions and wall thickness.
