Titanium Grade 9 seamless tube is a high-performance alpha-beta titanium alloy tube manufactured to ASTM B861 / ASTM B338 standards. It is also known as UNS R56320. It is alpha-beta titanium alloy pipe marked Ti-3Al-2.5V, produced per ASTM B861 standard.
Gr9 titanium seamless tube refers to an optimal engineer solution where the combination of medium-high strength,excellent corrosion resistance and good fabricability for critical applications in aerospace.marine and chemical processing industries.The alloy's superior characteristics make it particularly valuable for hydraulic systems and other applicaitons where safety and performance are paramount.
Manufacturing Process About Titanium Grade 9 Seamless Tube
Billet Preparation: Melting → forging → piercing
Hot Extrusion/Rolling: Form shell at 850–950°C
Cold Drawing/Rolling: Reduce OD/WT to final size.
Heat Treatment: Annealed for formability; cold‑worked for higher strength
Finishing: Pickling, bright annealing, sandblasting, or precision grinding
Testing: 100% ultrasonic, hydrostatic, or eddy current; mechanical & chemical inspection
