Gr9 (Ti-3Al-2.5V) is a near-alpha titanium alloy with moderate strength, excellent cold formability, weldability, and corrosion resistance. It sits between commercial pure titanium (Gr1/Gr2) and high-strength Gr5 (Ti-6Al-4V), widely used for lightweight, corrosion-resistant components needing good processability.
