Gr5 titanium wire is a circular material with diameter < 6 mm, manufactured from Ti6 Al 4V alloy in compliance with ASTM B863 or AMS 4928 standard.

Grade 5 titanium wire is the most widely used alpha-beta titanium alloy wire, defined by the composition Ti-6Al-4V (~6% aluminum, ~4% vanadium, balance titanium). It balances high strength, low density, excellent corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility, making it a staple for aerospace, medical, additive manufacturing (3D printing), and marine/chemical applications.
