Grade 2 titanium forged ring is a commercially pure titanium (CP Ti) ring-shaped component produced by hot forging & ring rolling, per ASTM B381 F-2.
Grade 2 Titanium Forged Ring is the most commonly used commercial pure titanium ring for industrial and high reliability applications, produced by hot forging and ring rolling.

Manufacturing Process Flow:
· Vacuum arc remelted (VAR) billet
· Hot forging (850–950°C, multi directional upsetting/radial forging)
· Ring rolling
· Solution/annealing (650–750°C, argon protected)
· Machining, surface finishing (pickling with HF+HNO₃ to remove alpha case)
· NDT (ultrasonic, liquid penetrant, radiographic)
· Final inspection

Grade 1: Softer, more formable, lower strength
Grade 2: Balanced strength & ductility, best general purpose CP Ti

Forged: Dense grain structure, higher strength, better fatigue and pressure resistance
