Introduction

Grade 12 (Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni, UNS R53400) titanium alloy bars are a lean α-titanium alloy optimized for superior corrosion resistance in aggressive chloride & reducing acid environments, with higher strength than Grade 2 and good weldability/formability. It is similar to GB TA10 (China) and it is used as a cost-effective alternative to Grade 7 in many corrosive services.
