UNS R56400 is the official Unified Numbering System designation for the Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy. It is the most widely used α+β two-phase titanium alloy, widely known as the "workhorse" of titanium alloys for its balanced high specific strength, excellent corrosion resistance, reliable fatigue toughness and good manufacturability.
UNS R56400 is the UNS designation for Ti-6Al-4V, also known as Grade 5 titanium alloy. It features high strength-to-weight ratio, good corrosion resistance and fatigue performance, which is the most widely-used titanium alloy worldwide.
