Grade 2 titanium rod is high-purity commercially pure titanium with a titanium content of ≥99%. Impurities including iron, oxygen, nitrogen and carbon are strictly controlled. It features a stable non-magnetic α hexagonal crystal structure, delivering safe, stable and durable material performance.
With a density of 4.51 g/cm³, it is approximately 40% lighter than steel, and its tensile strength ranges from 480 to 620 MPa, balancing lightweight design and decent mechanical strength. Compared with ordinary steel, it boasts lighter weight and superior corrosion resistance; meanwhile, it costs less and is easier to machine than high-end titanium alloys.
